I am an IOS developer and to develop IOS apps I definitely do need a MacBook and extra monitors the local clients usually pass data through USB flash drives. Since Apple removed the USB and HDMI ports from MacBook It was very difficult for me to perform my day to day tasks until I spent some extra money buying a type-c adapter for my MacBook so it could support the external monitors, HDD and flash drives. I was curious to know why did apple removed those incredibly useful ports. Here are some reasons I came across.

· It makes the laptop thinner since apple always bring compact sizes.

· If they don’t drop the USB ports now the manufacturers won’t move to build and adopt new technology.

· The most famous answer on google was “Apple has a long history of killing old connectors to drive adoption of newer, better standards.”

· Apple is looking forward for wireless standards and may be in the coming future they get rid of type-c as well

· May be extra money

· Or may be because USB-C is much faster than USB 3.0

The answer Is not very clear by apple but yes we developers or MacBook users has to add extra cost while purchasing mac-book but thanks to Baseus for introducing a bit cheaper and reliable adapters.
